United Airlines has announced new trans-Atlantic summer-season service between New York and Venice, Italy, along with new service between Chicago and Dublin, both subject to government approval. Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker said on Tuesday “everything is perfect” with the A350 and that he expected delivery of the widebody jet between Dec. 12 and Dec. 15.
Emirates has announced a third daily service to Malé, the capital of the Maldives. Commencing Monday, December 1st, Emirates flight EK656 will depart Dubai International Airport at 02:10, and arrive in Malé at 07:15, adding seven more inbound flights a week to the Maldives, increasing passenger and cargo capacity on the route by a third.
