A KLM Cityhopper plane en route from Nice to Amsterdam had to make an emergency landing at Luxembourg’s airport on Monday.
Around 140 kilometres away from Luxembourg, smoke started building up in the cabin and the pilot of the Embraer 190 decided to divert the plane to Luxembourg.
Within 20 minutes the plane touched down in the Grand Duchy, with no problems during landing.
According to passengers, smoke appeared in the back of the cabin during the flight.
