An American Airlines aircraft was damaged after it flew into a flock of geese while on approach to Kansas City international Airport.

An American Airlines Boeing 737-800 (reg. N846NN) was damaged after it flew into a flock of geese while on approach to Kansas City international Airport.

The American Airlines aircraft was on approach to runway 01R at Kansas City-Intl airport performing flight #AA1855 from Chicago ORD.

The plane was able to to land safely without human injuries but sustained substantial damage to its nose, wings and right engine.
