An Air India flight bound for Dharamshala was grounded today after one of the rear tires deflated. The incident happened at Kangra airport just as the passengers wore about to board the aircraft but authorities decided to ground the flight. Passengers were diverted to near by airports such as Amritsar & Chandigarh.
Kangra airport manager stated that the plane was grounded due to the de-inflation but it there was no emergency situation as tyre did not burst during landing.
