Two men were arrested when an easyJet flight from Copenhagen to Edinburgh touched down today amid claims of a “violent confrontation”.
Fellow travellers said areas of the cabin were ‘covered in blood’ and that cabin crew had been “reduced to tears” as a result of the incident.
“It was a violent confrontation and an area of the cabin was covered in blood. The cabin crew did a great job to try to contain it.
A spokesman for then airline said: “We can confirm that flight EZY6980 from Copenhagen to Edinburgh was met by police on arrival as a result of two passengers onboard behaving disruptively. The passengers were removed by police and arrested.
